There has been so much growth and news in prediction markets and collective intelligence in just the last couple weeks, it makes sense to summarize some of the key headlines, in no particular order.

  • InTrade secures substantial financing round from investors to propel growth and expansion.

  • Xpree renames to Crowdcast and expands operations, product development and marketing.

  • The University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management sponsors next PM/CI Cluster 18 Jun.

These are just a fraction of the headlines that interested us. (Sorry if we missed your favorite.) This breaking news is emblematic of the sharp growth in markets, particularly in corporate, enterprise and institutional settings. This is not some odd Hawthorne Effect, but an authentic chasm crossing.
